Shellie started her career in the legal field in Oklahoma at a small firm handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, criminal, and family law matters. She moved from Oklahoma to the Vail Valley in 1996. After living and working in the mountains for a few years she settled in Northern Colorado. Shellie obtained her paralegal certification and furthered her credentials obtaining an advanced certification in trial practice. She also has experience working in the government sector. She worked for the 19th Judicial District and Weld County Department of Human Services Child Support Enforcement Unit. Having rounded out her experience and realizing the private sector was once again calling, she joined the Flanders, Elsberg, Herber & Dunn team in 2014.
When she is not working, Shellie enjoys spending time with her husband and children outdoors, either cycling, running, or hiking, occasionally settling in with the hound dogs to watch a season of their favorite television series.
